At the Show - Exhibits

This week's exhibits were chosen as a tribute to Father's Day on Sunday, June 17. With great warmth and subtle humor, these displays remind us of how really special father figures are in our lives and how much we love them. We hope these scenes bring a smile to your face, as they did ours.

"Cold One, Eh?" Scene with two ice fishermen created by IGMA Fellow Connie Sauve, doll maker. Exhibited at the 2007 Good Sam Show. To see more of Connie's miniature scenes, look under My Miniatures on her website. www.thechinadoll.com

Earl's Workshop. Exhibited at the 2007 Good Sam Show. Exhibitor's name unknown.

"Grandpa's Fixen Shop" has loads of detail and reminds us that grandfathers can fix anything. It was an exhibit at the 2010 Good Sam Show. The exhibitor' name is unknown. Photo by Connie Sauve.

The Bustled Knuckle Garage was exhibited at the 2010 Good Sam Show by Paul Osze, Pacifica, CA.  He told us at the time, "This 1:12 scale garage was a 50th birthday gift for my Uncle Steve, a Harley-Davidson motorcycle buff. I used miniature fluorescent lighting and backlighting to create the shop lights and glowing sign."  Paul began making miniatures in 2003 to help with his mother's projects.
