Upcoming Erik Goddard Workshop at Shellie's Miniature Mania

Shellie Kazan is offering Erik Goddard's "Brasserie Zinc" workshop in 1:12 scale at her miniature shop in San Carlos, CA. A brasserie is a type of French restaurant with a relaxed, upscale setting. The class is scheduled for August 10-11, 2013 (Saturday 8am-6pm, Sunday 8am-6pm). Price is $650 with a down payment of 25%  required by July 21.

"Brasserie Zinc" is located on a curved and winding street in Brussels. Using a prebuilt box, class participants will build the walls of the brasserie out of spackle, install windows, and build the basic interior. They will create outside details such as the stairs and landing leading to the red glass front door. Students will install electrical for all lighting, and create the adjoining delivery/back door. This scene within a box measures about 17" wide by 17" high, and 15" deep.
